Emily has had an entrepreneurial career path prior to joining the financial services industry. She has worked in multiple industries including management consulting and information technology where she demonstrated talent in the areas of software, enterprise planning and architecting custom solutions for clients. Her unique background enables Emily to serve our clients in creative ways given her innate curiosity, desire to learn and capacity to adapt to change. In her role as an advisor, Emily partners with clients to understand their specific priorities and vision for the future. She places a high level of importance on client communication to better understand individual concerns, to discuss goals and stay up to date on life and market events in order to create the best possible financial plans and investment strategies.
Committed to the Community
In addition to her day job, Emily is also actively involved in the business and nonprofit community; she serves on several business advisory and nonprofit boards. Emily is deeply committed to a variety of charities investing time and energy to the greater Milwaukee community. Emily was a speaker at the 2016 TEDxUWMilwaukee “I Am, We Are” event. She is also one of the 2017 Milwaukee Business Journal 40 Under 40 award recipients, and the 2018 OneMKE Driver of Diversity Professional of the Year award recipient. Although the awards demonstrate her involvement in making the world a better place, the driving force in her success is because she has a passion for people, especially the underdogs.
Emily earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2007. In her leisure time, she enjoys playing golf, traveling, triathlons, club sports and spending time with her family.
